El gobierno de Leganés pretende cerrar dos escuelas infantiles

La concejala de Educación ha sostenido que las escuelas infantiles Verbena y Valle Inclán, cuentan con clases excesivamente reducidas. La oposición aprueba una moción para volver a reclamar que no se abandone este modelo de escuela pública.

La Comunidad de Madrid quiere llevar a cabo la clausura de la actividad de dos centros infantiles debido a la pérdida continua de alumnos.

El programa de educación para la integración social y cultural de vecinos inmigrantes ya cuenta con 600 alumnos. Se trata de cursos gratuitos en los que el aspecto clave es la enseñanza del idioma y la cultura de nuestro país.

El Ayuntamiento de Leganés continúa fomentado la inclusión de inmigrantes en la localidad.

Representantes socialistas y Jesús Gómez, alcalde popular de la localidad madrileña de Leganés, se reunieron el pasado martes. Ambos grupos intentaron fallidamente llegar a un acuerdo sobre la partida presupuestaria del 2013. Rafael Gómez Montoya, portavoz del PSOE, recordaba que esos presupuestos ya habían sido rechazados y que no negociarán nada con el PP debido a que preparan una futura moción de censura.

Leganés se suma a la reducción de emisiones de CO2

El ayuntamiento de Leganés colaborará al incremento de coches eléctricos e híbridos en la Comunidad de Madrid. Formará parte de un nuevo proyecto del Ministerio de Agricultura, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente, que reducirá en 1.018 toneladas las emisiones de CO2.

El Papa dejará su puesto a finales de mes por falta de fuerzas

El actual Papa ha renunciado a su cargo como líder de la Iglesia Católica. Durante la canonización de los mártires de Otranto, el Pontífice comunicó públicamente y en latín que dejaba su ministerio. Afirma que ha sido una decisión difícil y largamente meditada, que además cuenta con pocos precedentes en la historia.

A pesar de que Joseph Ratzinger ya había advertido dos años atrás en una entrevista que no se encontraba tan bien como desearía, la determinación de dejar su cargo ha sido recibida con sorpresa.

Protesta frente al ayuntamiento de Leganés

La plataforma de trabajadores de Leganés convoca una huelga de seis días como protesta por el despido de 38 trabajadores interinos por parte del ayuntamiento. Alcorcón acoge definitivamente el proyecto de Eurovegas

La localidad madrileña ha sido la elegida para albergar el plan de Eurovegas del multimillonario Sheldon Adelson . Tras varios meses de especulaciones, se ha hecho oficial que será Alcorcón, en lugar de Barcelona, la que acoja el proyecto. Este complejo de ocio constará de 12 hoteles de 3000 habitaciones cada uno, multitud de casinos, teatros, un centro comercial y varios campos de golf. A finales de este año comenzará a edificarse en el terreno de 750 hectáreas, y sé prevé que en el 2017 estará terminada la primera fase.
